To order simply add metres to your basket – we will cut as one continuous length. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

Sewing Your Ponte Roma Fabric

Along with the actual Ponte Roma Fabrics we are pleased to offer you all the ‘bits and bobs’ around the edges that make sewing stretch fabrics easier and much more effective:

Needles – Stitch with . The ball of the needle parts the Jersey fibres rather than piercing them to help ensure the elastic quality remain intact.

Thread – Stitch with , this is a poly/cotton fibre. Alternatively, if you would prefer to work with a pure cotton option  will also stitch perfectly.

General Purpose Thread is included if you ‘add a matching thread above’.

Interfacing –  are created especially for working with fabrics such as Jersey. They add a little more body to make sewing easier.
