Fusible Fleece 2 features Steam-A-Seam 2 on both sides of the Warm Fleece allowing you to quickly fuse your top and backing fabrics eliminating the need for basting.

The fleece is extremely versatile in that a quick, gentle pass of your steam iron will create a permanent soft, pliable bond ideal for soft books but the more steam and pressure you apply makes it very rigid for stand up totes!

It is always best to pre-wash fabrics and heavier fabrics will require more time to fuse.

For Quilting – the fleeces original purpose – we recommend stitching with Empress Cotton Sewing Thread. Fine, strong, soft finish & absolutely natural. An ideal and superb general-purpose cotton with uses ranging from dressmaking to quilting. Lint-free and guaranteed to run on you sewing machine.

For Bag Making or Other Projects – we recommend stitching with . It is slightly stronger than a ‘normal’ sewing thread meaning it won’t have a problem sewing fleece, particularly at seams and edges where you are likely to have multilayers.
